George Dyson, LT, USNR

George Dyson (LT, USNR), served as a Naval Aviator for 20 years before transitioning to Naval Chaplaincy.  He is a native of Cincinnati, OH, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Following a call to ministry, he obtained a Master of Divinity degree (2016) and a Doctor of Ministry degree (2023) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is ordained and endorsed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He is also an ACBC-certified biblical counselor.

Chaplain Dyson was immediately drawn to the mission of Fallen Soldiers Ministries, having seen firsthand the damage that a scarcity of solid biblical counseling methodology can cause within the military. Secular humanistic methodology, often under the stamp of "Christian," permeates counseling systems, inside and outside the military. Veterans and service members alike are following the humanistic ideology into moral and spiritual bankruptcy. Upon reaching a dead end, they prove fertile ground for truths aligned with biblical sufficiency. We can only hope that Fallen Soldiers Ministries will spread like wildfire within the Chaplain Corps.

Following graduation from Naval Chaplain School, he was assigned to NR RELSUP MFR in New Orleans, LA. He is currently on active duty orders as the Chaplain's Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) Director, where he visits Marine Units across the country to provide Spiritual Fitness workshops. George has experienced the healing power of God's Word and witnessed its complete and total sufficiency in his own life and the lives of the service members he has counseled.

George lives in Houston, TX, with Tracy, his wife of 16 years.
