Since World War I, psychological and pharmacological treatments have nominally impacted the lives of military families living with the stress derived from combat. 2004 benchmarks the advent of a relentless suicide rate that persists at the astonishing rate of 20+ souls per day.

Please join Fallen Soldiers Ministries (FSM) in petitioning the U.S. Federal Government to fund and offer Certified Biblical Counseling underneath the umbrella of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the Veterans Health Administration System (VA).

FSM's network of Certified Biblical Counselors address "Consequences of War" in ways that glorify God. Trusting God’s wisdom and applying the "Sufficiency of Scripture Doctrine", over $600,000 in Certified Biblical Counseling and Soul Care has been gifted to Military families who have been failed or injured by the humanistic philosophies, unproven methodologies, psychotropic drugs, group therapy and inept speculation compelled all too often, through secular psychology and integrationism.

FSM assists our Military families in understanding and learning to trust how God is Sovereign over all His creation and all circumstances to overcome complex emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual challenges.

Seeking the support and financial backing of the Federal Government, FSM will expand its reach to help mitigate the suicides rendering pain and impairment to families who sacrifice their loved ones to defend America.

My Message to the Military
You should be ashamed of how you return your war heroes to civilian life. As in the case of my son, Mark, when he returned from Iraq and his mission as an assassin (sniper), he was given a five-minute reorientation questionnaire.
You tore out his soul and then you threw him to the wind, with no more than a few Prozacs to dull his mind.

And for God’s sake, stop assaulting them with mind-altering drugs in hopes that they will no longer be a bother to you. Know that even with great effort, you have twisted their minds, distorted their brains, and scarred their souls in so many permanent ways that they may never fully recover. You need to be there for them for the rest of their life, as they were for you, during some of the most difficult situations in our country’s history.

Yes - Recognizing the persistent crisis of veteran and military suicides, often tied to complex emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual challenges, I believe our Veterans and Active Duty Military greatly benefit from the power and effectiveness of Certified Biblical Counseling predicated on the "Sufficiency of Scripture Doctrine" to develop and foster Biblical hope through God's Sovereignty over all His creation and all circumstances, not man.

Biblical Soul Care should be offered as an eminent option, along with the secular, pharmacological, or integrationist approaches currently being utilized.

Accordingly, I charge the United States Congress to establish funding for Certified Biblical Counseling, establishing an equal treatment option for sound Biblical doctrines, exemplified by those counseling on behalf of Fallen Soldiers Ministries.

Additionally, I urge the government to pay for Servicemembers and Military Chaplaincy to get trained in Biblical Counseling to aid in the counseling for Servicemembers and their Families.
